Francisco Fort Museum is nestled at the base of The Spanish Peaks, in central southern Colorado. The original adobe fort, built in 1862, displays historic artifacts and collections of The Huerfano County Historical Society from the entire diverse region. Exhibits depict Native American tradition, Mexican American legacy, historic settlements, regional ranching, coal mining, and much more!
